How we work
Hazel & Morris is located in an old Dutch forester cottage, surrounded by trees, wildlife and estates.
The studio works on one project at a time so that Annemarie can work on every project with full focus. We therefor recommend you to send in your project request well ahead.
If you would like to enquire about our interior design service, please email us providing a copy of the floor plan, photographs of the property and details of your budget where available.
Our design philosophy
Collected
An interior should suggest it has been there for ages, collected and grown over time. For that reason we work with a lot of vintage and antique pieces, from lighting fixtures to fabrics and doors.
Setting
We feel inspired by history and nature and therefor tend to focus more on buildings that reflect either or both.
Contrast
We love playing with contrast and believe that every room should be a combination of masculine and feminine, of seriousness with playfulness and of light to dark.
Liveable
A home should feel lived in. At Hazel and Morris you will not find overly stylised houses, where you would not feel comfortable living in. We create cosy homes that are a bit messy but always well considered in the core.
