Bobbin furniture originated at the end of the 17th century in the US, UK and the Netherlands. The legs and other details were turned on a lathe to recreate the appearance of a spool. This simple, distinctive shape has stood the test of time and crosses the line between the traditional and contemporary.⁠

It is not recommended to sit on the chairs for a long period of time, but oh how beautiful they look! Place them in the hallway of the bedroom so you can even quickly throw on a piece of clothing, or in another nice corner under a photo frame.
